DICKERSON, Md. (ABC7) — A firefighter has died from his injuries after he was trapped underneath an overturned tractor in Montgomery County.
Drue Jones, 60, a career firefighter assigned to the Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services’ Vigilant Hose Company, died Tuesday after being found trapped under an overturned tractor at his home in the 23000 block of W. Harris Road in Dickerson.

After the discovery, Jones was pronounced dead at 9:14 a.m. when it was determined he had succumbed to his injuries.
Police and fire crews from both Frederick County and Montgomery County remain on the scene as the investigation continues.
Jones was a 14-year member of the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue. His son, Stephen Jones, also is a career firefighter with the Frederick County division and the President of the Local 3666.
