- I began in the fire service at the age of 17 on an all volunteer department. I became employed at my current job 6 years later. I have also worked with an ambulance service for several years in the past.

- FFI/II, haz-mat operations, fire officer I, fire instructor I, driver operator, ariel operations, EMT basic, NIMS 100,200,700,800.
- About Me:
- I am currently a Captain / Asst. Battalion Chief with the Honey Creek Fire Dept. I am also in inspector with the building and safety division. I started in the fire service a long time ago after witnesing a fatal accident and realizing afterwords that I too could help the community since the dept. was already short handed. I officially joined a small volunteer department and recieved my first and second class certs. A couple of years later I became employed with a combination department and loved it. I still love it. I try to tell people "I am just a black hat with a red helmet" because I would rather be making the runs instead of the paperwork. But I am still on company and havin' fun.

- No side jobs. My family keeps me busy enough.
