This could present a bigger problem for us, as the daytime heating will become a factor. I would be looking out around 1PM or so.
Other than that, I stepped down from my position as LT at Tri County, and took on a new role as a Special Ops Officer. I will be handling Incident Command, Logistics, and a few other fun things. I finally get to put my certifications to use!
I will still fight wildland fires, when needed, but structure and other major incidents will put me in a different role.
All this came about last week. I got sick and tired of immaturity and a few other things. It's a common thing at all departments.
We are all prepping for the funeral for CIndy Quinn, who was a life long member, and good friend. I really appreciate you guys helping out with the Honor Guard...it means a lot to give this firefighter/Med the sendoff she truly deserves.
BE STRONG AND GO HOME SAFE!
