Top Issues Facing Responders:
Training, training, training..................so much has been placed on our shoulders as Emergency Responders, to have to learn how do it all in such a short time is nuts. The older members who have put their time in just don't get what our NEW responsibilities are and are often not willing to upgrade their training. The younger members who are HARDCORE understand this need and are willing to make those sacrifices to attend the classes and provide the level of service we need in this day and age. The family dynamic in this day and age just doesn't seem to allow for the proper training MANDATED by the State and Federal Governments.
I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
Helping those that need help on their WORST day.
