- I join the fd in 1996, I was thinking this was cool, I get to ride around on shiny red fire trucks and have fun... Well 12 years later I still have fun but I kow that it is very serious work. I love being a firefighter I have learned so much in 12 years and still am learning every time i go to a call. I have a lot of repect for anyone that is in the emrgency services, or the miltary. I am a driver trainer and love to teach the younger crowd what I know even if they do not listen ( hey I Didnt at 16). I hope everyone that reads this stays safe and we all go home after the run.

Hi !
Hi My name is Dave and I reside in ct. I have been in the fire service for 12 years, joined up when I was 16 and the rest is history. I will be updating my page as I get time with videos,pics and other cool stuff. My dept is all vollunteer, and we run about 1500-1600 calls a year, all fire calls, No ems. (we have a ambulance corp for that). Just wanted to let everyone know who i am, so stay safe and peace!
