- My uncle was like an idol to me and, while growing up with him at the Townline Volunteer Fire Dept. in Lancaster NY. It was always an intriguing thought to become a fire rescue personnel. After starting off as an explorer more windows opened, EMS, Hook and Ladder, Extrication Tech., ect. Well now i am a volunteer for the County of Hamblen Rescue Squad. and also an explorer for the City of Morristown.
