Rainy days

I know there are people getting a lot more rain than we are which means there are those people who do not pay attention to the low water crossings so I am sure we will get a couple of calls for water rescues. The weekend is almost here....Anyone taking those last minute vacations before school starts? Have a good day and be safe....

Just want to say thanks to those who added me to their list. I just completed my firefighter 1 this …

Just want to say thanks to those who added me to their list. I just completed my firefighter 1 this past week and I can't wait to take my 2. We don't get that many fires around here, most of the calls are medical assist. I will eventually think about getting my EMT but for now I want to get as much of the fire stuff as I can. Continue

Cool, its a great school...I would love to go back there for some training in the future....I went for my other edumication....knew quite a few guys who went there back in the mid 90s....I love that place...

So the job world is ugly! One even after drug testing me decided that I had had too many jobs and therefore wasn't reliable?? go figure. When you work for private EMS contractors and in the "real world", contracts go away and bog companies lay people off, And that made me undesireable. They reposted the job for veterans only. In other words, someones buddy just got out of the service and needed a job. Still have another interview in East Central TX next Monday and we'll see. Still applying for lots of jobs.
