- Politics and financial issues can be extremely difficult for agencies. Getting the average politician and tax payer to understand why we need up to date equipment and recommended minimum staffing are difficult, up hill battles.

At the Florida Professional Firefighters Convention this past Friday, over 500 delegates representing over 26,000 professional fire fighters in Florida UNANIMOUSLY voted to boycott the City of Clearwater, Pinellas County Florida, and the Florida Firefighter Olympics. A video worth watching
As we come up on the anniversary of the tragic loss of nine brothers in Charleston, my battalion officer played a video for me. I'm not going to lie, I was crying like a baby right in the station.
