At 12:12pm on January 17th, 2008, Nick Baalman said…: I dont know if you know the history behind your picture on your homepage of the 2 New York firefighters (One is kneeled down and the other is looking back over there shoulder at the twin towers). The artist is a retired Fire captain from Ashland, Oregon. He used two members of the Ashland Fire Department to pose for the picture. He made One large Oil Print and sent it back to New York City. There were 2 5'x8' Prints made of the origanal. One was given to Ashland Fire and Rescue and the other was given to our Fire Department, Jackson County Fire District 5. Thought you might Like to know
