Top Issues Facing Responders:: Training, or at least a certain apathy towards continuing ed. There is so much more to responding than the "blinkies and woo-woo's"! A preparedness behind the scenes will fast turn a bad call good.

I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:: "Glory" Not the hero's type, but the average person's feeling of helping a neighbor, friend, or even some dude they've never seen and may never again. Everytime my pager dings, someone's life has or is about to change. Nothing glorious about that, but the glory is being available and properly trained to be responsible for someone's life. The "Glory" is deep inside, proud of your team, proud of yourself, and getting ready for the next call.
