Safety is always an issue. Pay is another, alot of people meaning governmental officials think the pay should be that much. The problem is that there is an elite bunch of people that do the job no one else will do.
I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
It is never the same day twice!!!

Firefighter Class

I just recently started the mandatory firefighter class in hopes to become a member of the Attica Fire Department. I understand it can be somewhat intense but I am looking forward to the challenge. The group that makes up the Attica Fire Department are a great bunch of guys who I would have no problem trusting my life to. I just want to return the favor. Wish me luck!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2008

This has been a very memoriable weekend. I worked Saturday and did not do anything until early evening. We then has several motor vehicle accidents which included utilizing many services which included the air ambulance. In the course of 5 days, there were approximately 10 flights from our area ONLY. I want to say that the services that I work with are nothing less than the best.
