- I started out as a dispatcher and got to hear all the stories when EMT's came back from calls. Then I decided to go on and do it myself. I absolutely LOVE it! Now I'm in paramedic school, so wish me luck!

- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- Not enough pay for what we do and not enough recognition. Being the step-child to Fire. Not enough people are going to want to go to school for as long as we do for as little as we make. Also, public awareness and safety for BOTH fire/rescue. If we can educate the public in simple everyday BLS, it would probably save alot more lives.
- I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
- I LOVE meeting every indivual, patient or family member. I love being able to help someone and feel like I made a difference in someone's (ANYONE'S) life.
