I have been involved in a lot of deaths... some were pretty bad. After over 25 years as a FF/Chaplain I can agree with Wade.. talking it out with people that you trust is a huge help.

I opened a web site that can provide you additional support. It is run by responders for responders...

Hey I've done over 20 deaths in my line of service (not bragging at all) But talking with your other firefighters that were on scene. Talk with them about it go though it in your brain and get that out. don't be afriad of talking about it and not letting all those emotions build up in your head.SHARE YOUR BAD AND GOOD THOUGHTS, also go back though and use it as a learning process, what other things could i have done to be beter at what we do. these are my thoughts about your thoughts
