The Lord Rides a Motorcycle

This is no joke by any means. Last friday night, my wife a nd I headed out for a little motorcycle ride and dinner. After dinner we got on our bike,(refer to my page for pics) and pulled out onto Main St. when I felt the bike behaving strange. At first I thought my wife was moving around trying to get comfortable...i told her to sit still as I turned my head back towards her. when I looked forwards it was then I noticed what was happening.

The area of the motorcycle where the handlebars connect to the forks are called risers, one of them had detached itself from the bike and I had no control of it. "Some-how" the bike made a subtle turn around one car and back into the next empty parking stall. It was then I started to shake as you can imagine.

After looking over the bike to fully understand what had happened to it, I discovered the bolt holding the riser in place had stripped out. I thank God, He can drive a bike, because that is the only way I'm still here to tell you this.
Take care of each other and ....
"stay safe"
