My biggest fear is making a decision that will cause a member of my crew to get hurt.

losing a member of my crew and not being able to find them and get them out.

havin something bad happen to a family or frind in the back of my ambulance ever again. ihave taken my mom, my best friend (her once then she passed out on me at the fire academy but that is a different story), or some one else really close to me.
i kno i can handle it but it is stil hard.

I've had that happen. My good friend rolled her SUV. She was okay thankfully, but once I realized it was her it sent me into overdrive. I think when we recognize someone we love has been injured, it makes us focus harder to get the situation resolved.

I would have to say burning alive doing the job I love most but just knowing that I saved a life before I passed would be my greatest accomplishment

My biggest fear honestly is hearing a call go out responding and it being someone I am close to

Dying in a fire weather i'm a firefighter in a building or a civilian at home.. that is my biggest and greatest fear.

Have had the whoa that was too close calls, and made it out each time. And yes I know that doestn mean I will always make it out...but.
My biggest fear is not being there for my kids. And that could be from anything, not just in the line. So I commute to and from work on a bicuycle 70-80 miles a week, plus lift to stay in shape so if it ever comes down to it Iam not the reason I'm not there.
Be safe and remember our job is to go home to our families in the morning...be safe all!

My hubby and I ride the truck together. My greatest fear is that something will happen to both of us and leaving our kids without parents.

Hmmm..interesting and a little weird question.....But I would have to say getting hurt and being paralyzed....I never want to be ventilator dependant and unable to move about....Would hope someone would pull the plug before that would happen...Stay safe and keep the faith..................Paul
