I agree, Merry Christmas, right back atcha!! I don't mind anyone else celebrating their religious holidays either. I like that my daughter's school is multicultural and they observe all of the holidays, but they have a Christmas lunch. One of the Muslim ladies where my mother works gives out Christmas cards.

I have been thinking lately that one of the biggest problems with society these days is that we are so intent to be politically correct that we are taking faith out of life. There is an increasingly large amount of people who consider themselves agnostic or athiest (not that there's anything wrong with that... and not saying these people cannot be good people... lol... heaven forbid I offend... hee hee). I'm not really sure how to word this, but asking people to leave their religion or faith at home (not saying people should come to work or parties and discuss their views... lol... that would make me crazy also...), has caused a lot of people to abondan faith alltogether. I've been struggling for years being one of those. I have noticed that it has become less and less important to people and less important in our lives and how we conduct ourselves.

I say stop being so politically correct, observe your holidays, have your views and your faith, and respect others views and allow them to observe their holidays. You can have a room at work or school for people to pray and it does not affect your ability to pray on your own time. You can have a spot for people to go at lunchtime (mostly for school age kids) during Ramadan and it doesn't affect how you feel about the food you are about to eat (although maybe we could appreciate it more), and people lighting their menorahs doesn't change the way I hang bulbs on my tree, so why on earth can we not continue to say Merry Christmas?? I love that we are multicultural, and acceptance is the key, not forcing people to abondan their views, beliefs and religious observances.

And the icing on the cake.... Santas in Australia were asked no to say ho, ho, ho as it would be derogatory to women!! hahahhahahahahahaaaaa.....

ITS OUT OF CONTROL. THE KIDS IN MY BROTHERS SCHOOL ON LONG ISLAND CANNOT SAY IT TO EACH OTHER . WE ARE TALKING HERE ABOUT 6&7 YR OLDS ,THEY DON,T CARE ABOUT HOLIDAYS ALL THEY KNOW IS SANTA IS COMMING AND ITS CHRISTMAS . THEY CANNOT EVEN SING CHRISTMAS SONGS AT THE " WINTER CONCERT" BUT THEY SANG SONGS IN HEBREW THIS A PUBLIC SCHOOL. I WANT THEM NEXT YEAR SING IN GAELIC SINCE ARE GRANDFATHER CAME FROM SCOTTLAND. MY BROTHER TOLD HIS KIDS YOU CAN SAY IT TO ANYONE YOU WANT IF THEY GET UPSET ITS THEIR PROBLEM NOT YOURS.
