How can you say "shows him right" kameron???? OMG.....you should be ashamed!! You were not there and do not know the extent of what went on! I mean for GOD's sake.....he just gave the girl a ride home!!! And the only person/persons who deserve such a beating as that are rapist/murders/child molesters!! If the PO were your brother or friend would you feel the same way? I THINK NOT!!!!! I wish the police officer the best in his recovery and I'll pray for the fellow FF that he will learn from such a mistake and deal with his anger.

I agree with you Rescue Diva. It is comments like that "shows him right...." that keep this sort of hatred going. Just because he is a cop..he is bad? No..doesn't work that way. There are BAD people in all walks of life. This is a horrible thing that happened and if the FF did it.... He should be ashamed, he should pay the consequences....no one deserves to be beat to a pulp..no one...except as Rescue Diva put it.....rapist/murders/child molesters...you get the point. This was just something that didn't need to happen and it is truly a shame. Police and FF face so much in their line of work....None of them deserve this kind of treatment from anyone.....NO one does!!!!!!!!!

Almost killing someone because they gave your girl friend or wife or who ever a ride home? That's insane. I don't think your ex is going to love you anymore no matter how many people you put in the hospital.

Ok Kameron seriously!! All people can be smart mouthed....I mean if some guy got all ignorant with you over giving a girl (who is more than likely your friend) a ride, your saying you wouldn't give it right back in talk?? And that makes it ok for the guy who you got smart mouthed back with a right to almost kill you? I meet a LOT of smart mouth people but by NO MEANS does it give me or anyone the right to hurt them. Heck we meet "STUPID" all day long in EMS and if we as EMS professionals can't keep anger like that under control then we are a DISGRACE TO OUR SERVICE. Suppose the girl got kidnapped or killed/raped then I guess it would have been ok that the cop gave her a ride right?? Your comments are seriously irritating me and it shows nothing but stupidity on your part.

I am going to agree with the others here----Where do get off making those comments... it sounds as if your thrilled with the fact that a ff kicked an LEO's butt. From the article he gave the girl a ride...I imagine that the reason she is not with the FF anymore is his anger issues and jealousy. The FF deserves in this case if the facts are correct to be treated as anyone else for assaulting a someone. Arrested and Prosecuted!
Someday you might need the services of LEO's and how would you like it if they refused because you are so disrespectful of them. Yes not every LEO is perfect , not every FF is either, but we still need to respect each other and work together. Afterall we basically do the same thing only they carry a gun and us a firehose.
