Investigators are interviewing neighbors and asking for the public's help.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities say arson is the suspected cause of fires that burned six vacant homes in north Memphis.
Memphis fire spokesman Wayne Cooke says no one was hurt in Wednesday's fires. Investigators are interviewing neighbors and asking for the public's help in finding anyone responsible for the blazes.
Cooke says fires in vacant homes are dangerous because children sometimes play in them and homeless people sometimes use unoccupied structures for shelter. They can also spread to other homes, endangering neighbors and firefighters called out to battle the blazes.
