FDNY Firefighters Stop Meat Cleaver Attack

Huang hacked at his wife in busy Chinatown before firefighters subdued him

NEW YORK (NBC New York) - Police arrested a 28-year-old man who allegedly attacked a woman with a meat cleaver on the street in Chinatown Sunday. Ming Guang Huang was charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment in connection with the broad-daylight attack witnessed by firefighters, whose Canal Street stationhouse is located across the street from where the alleged assault occurred.
