From You Tube;Firefighters had to extinguish a large blaze after a Lamborghini Gallardo burst into flames in Peterborough.

The 2005 model which burnt out on Friday was worth around £75,000. Eyewitnesses said the bright orange car pulled up with smoke billowing from its engine. Two men were seen to jump out of the vehicle.

The fire attracted a crowd of people, one of whom put this footage of the incident on YouTube. Firemen said the car's carbon fibre and alloy construction made it burn more intensely.

The car was removed from the scene by police who have begun an investigation.

Agrees with Tim. I saw one FF with a pack on at the back of the engine pulling out gear but the guy on the nozzle was already working the car.
