From YouTube: The Gary Indiana Fire Department, the 27th through the 28th of April, dealt with 4 house fires and an apartment building fire. The first was 13th and Harrison which was a brick 25x40 1.5 story frame dwelling. The second fire was a 25x75 3-story brick apartment building. A fatal fire broke out just after 8am on the 28th at 13th and Ellisworth, one victim died due to smoke inhalation and burns. The fourth fire was in Glen Park and the final fire was at 24th and King in Black Oak.
