November 10, 2009. Early this morning AFD was dispatched to 1248 W. Hamilton St. for a reported structure fire. The call came in around 0400 hours. BC-4 arrived on scene to find the basement fulled involved. Crews tried to attack the fire from the inside but the fire became to heavy so command pulled everyone out. The fire was knocked down but the fire went into the walls and extended up into the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. Crews were on scene all morning putting out hot spots. Three firefighters were injured in this fire.
