First responders train for emergency preparedness in San Diego Published Thursday, November 1, 2012
If you're prepared for zombies, you're prepared for anything. That's the sentiment behind the "zombie apocalpyse" training that took place in San Diego on Halloweeen as part of the HALO Counterterrorism Summit. First responders, including firefighters, law enforcement and special-ops military, participated in the drill, which is modeled off of a public-servce campaign launched in 2011 by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The campaign used the idea of a zombie attack to encourage the public to prepare for all disasters. Photographer Bob Graham was at the zombie drill and captured these photos.
