Andrew Lipscombe said… - G'day Wayne, I am with Aviation Rescue And Fire Fighting Service. We have departments in every State in Australia, basically our main skill lies with aviation crash and rescue however our district includes all buildings, instalations and busineses on the airport lease. Which is absolutly huge. We attend AFA's, medical calls, wild fires, haz chem and structural callouts on a daily basis around the airports, not to mention a crap load of aviation turnouts. Take a look at the Airservices Australia website and follow links to recruitment. I think we are having a recruitment in mid July for intake next year. The good thing is you can transfer from state to state. A lot of the state brigades dont recruit to oftern.
