Tractor-trailer rolls after hitting bridge

A 45-year-old Erie, Pa., man rolled his tractor trailer Thursday morning after striking the CSX railroad overpass on Young Street in the City of Tonawanda.

The accident, which was captured on the surveillance video of a nearby business, happened at about 8:30 a.m. and closed a portion of Young Street for much of the day while police and fire crews handled the scene.

Tonawanda Baby in Hospital After Being Attacked By Dog

A three month old baby was attacked in his own home on Gath Terrace in the City of Tonawanda during Sunday afternoon. Police say one of the family's dogs, an American Staffordshire Terrier, attacked the baby after the mother briefly left the child in a room that was gated off. what mistakes did you make and had a successful out come

i had my first fire at work 2 weeks ago today, a hot billett fell under a press and ignited a shovel in the basement and the oil under the floor grates, now i see why the said you never turn your back on a fire. i used 2 dry chem extinguishers. after i used the first one the fire flashed up on me, and again after the second one, until i was able to get a hose line to knock it down

the only ppe i had was an MSA AIRHAWK industrial air pack.

i had no head protection, a polyester s… Continue

what i was told when they dispatch an engine you can respond. dispatch doesnt always knows how to tone out calls. that is something that you have to go on you own judgement. like the call at the water the other day she only toned it out for T-6 but i knew that we should have been toned out also. R-4 and Squad 51(and the boat) also went. but if its for an investigation then dont respond unless T-6 calls for us.
