BIG FLATS -- The driver of a West Hill Fire Department tanker truck was killed this evening in a one-vehicle accident a short distance from the fire hall on West Hill Road.

Chemung County Sheriff's Investigator Nicholas DeMuth said the driver was killed shortly after 6 p.m. when the vehicle crashed on West Hill Road A, less than a mile from Vanderhoef Road in Big Flats.… Continue
