People who don't appreciate enough. It doesn't matter what race or sex you are, or whether you're volunteer or career. Everyone involved risks their asses to save someone else's, and should ALL be appreciated.

the adrenaline rush and a job well done.

Your Firefighter Nation for Firefighting EMS and Rescue Box

I'm young, but I'm not exactly new to the fire service. My father and brother have been volunteer firefighters for years and I've learned a lot of what I know from them. Everything else is from the classes I've taken at the county training center...and the NYS Fire Academy. I'm still thinking about Paramedic/EMS classes too, but for right now I'm sticking with firefighting. I'm attending UAlbany for the spring semester, and hopefully I'll get to meet some of the career firefighters around here. Two of my best friends are other women in the department with me, but besides that, the rest of my friends aren't really interested in the fire service or hearing about it...so I'm always up for talking to anyone who is.

Hi Sara, I joined this group to share our incredible wellness story with everyone. I helped my husband get well (and saved his life) and I got healthier, also. Many of our men and many of us need to get healthier. If you’re interested in more information about this life changing program please send me an email at: wellness2390@aol.com Thanks, Jan

I read the words and looked at your photo and thought you to be channeling an entity from bygone days. I study languages for the thrill of being able to explore the minds of others on their terms and was familiar with the grammer and syntax here. ...
