- I have been involved in Emergency Services for 16 years. I joined the Bluff City VFD when I was 15, and have held positions from Jr Firefighter to Assistant Chief. I am currently Assistant Chief/EMT. I joined Bluff City Rescue Squad when I was 16 yrs old. My full-time job is Flight Coordinator/EMT for WINGS Air Rescue, based in Johnson City.

Drought!!!
- Like alot of the Country, it has been a hot, dry summer in TN. We are almost 17" below our normal rainfall for the year. The volunteer fire depts here in Sullivan County are delivering water to farmers for their ponds. Bluff City VFD has made almost 20 deliveries in the last couple of weeks. It's just a matter of time until we start responding to brush fires everywhere. There have been a few in the County, but nothing major. Please keep us in your prayers. If we don't get some rain soon

- Check out Roll Call Groups and put some info about your Fire House in... Like to hear what your station is like, what you have as well as for number for firefighters as well as number of calls. Pass it around to your Firefighter Friends too....Easy way to located this group is go to my site and look at the bottom left. Short cut if you have a hard time locating this.
