Hi my name's Jordan and I live in a very tiny town in Southeast Indiana. The departments here are privately owned and are volunteer. There are hardly any structure fires but it's still interesting because people burn the craziest things. We deal with people burning furniture, Christmas trees, and tires! And we always get calls for the stray cow now and then. We have 3 stations with over 12 trucks (depending if we sold the older ones that we've replaced). These entry level positions require no previous experience. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. A GED is acceptable.

Our 450 career men and women Firefighters/Emergency Medical Technicians are dedicated to protecting lives. Few careers can offer such a challenging and meaningful mission in an atmosphere of teamwork and camaraderie. If selected, we provide a competitive minimum salary of $44,086 and exceptional benefits.
