- Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
- The area where I started out in was in bad need of help. Most of the firefighters were in their late 60"s. I had just turned 19 and wanted to help out my community. After my first house fire I was hooked. Have tried to give it up twice and ended up back in it again. Now I am a captain at a good department with a great group of people. Would not trade it for the world. I LOVE MY JOB!

- I started out @ Crystal Fire in Pulaski County Arkansas. When I was 28 I moved to Alexander and help start their fire department. Moved to the Arch Street area became a firefighter out there worked for a year, changed to Quail Creek Fire Department where I became good friends with the cheif when he took the paid fire cheifs position I moved back to the City of Alexander to work with him and my other best friend Mark "Gator" Ridgeway.

- Vehicle Extrication, Ventilation, Pump Ops, Emergency Driving, Going through Firefighter I and Firefighter II. We are fortunate enough to have a Fire Academy certified Instructor in our department. Asst. Cheif / Trainig Officer Brian Culler aka THE ANGRY PANDA
