Everything I have learned is from my dad teaching me, the firefighters I work with teaching me, and me by myself teaching myself new things. I have learned ALOT about the service from working in it for my total of four years.
- About Me:
- Zach. California. /Fire/ The Fire Department Is Life. I Am In A Associates Program At Los Medanos Community College For My Associates Degree In Fire Technology. It Is A Many Coursed Class So I Will Be Accomplishing FF1, FF2, EMT-B, Fire Science, Fire Tech, Fire Terms, And Will Be Going Through The Fire Academy There For Now. I Plan On Going To Go To A 4-Year College In Maryland Afterwords And Work At A Fire Department While Attending There. At College, I Will Study For My Bachelors Degree In Fire Science/Technology And Go For A Masters Degree In Buisness Administration. Afterwords, I Plan On Going Through The National Fire Acadamy In Emmitsburg, Maryland. Then I Am Going To Be On A Full Time Department As A Firefighter/Paramedic And Move Up Ranks From There. For Now, I Am A Explorer With Rio Vista Fire Department, Station 55. The Dept Has 3 Engines, 1 Water Tender, 1 Rescue Unit, 1 Brush Unit, and 1 Aerial Unit. The Job Is Amazing And I Love The Feeling Of Having Helped Someone Out. -55

- I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
- It Is An Amazing Thing Being Able Help Out Others When Their Life, Family, Or Home Is At Risk. You Get To Keep The Community Safe While Having A Good Time Doing It, And Just Being A Part Of The Brotherhood Is An Amazing Thing. I Love Being Around The Fire House, Running Calls With All The Adrenaline Rushing Through You And Even Just Being Able To Help Out Around With Whatever Needs Done.
