- I have been a career firefighter for nearly all of my 28 years in the fire service, serving as a senior line officer, and instructor. I have worked in departments as small as 7 career personnel, and currently work for one of the largest departments in the USA (1250). Worked my way up through the ranks, and hope to continue serving in emercency services for many years to some.

- Have served as an instructor in a number of different countries. Member IAFF Local 122, Florida Fire Chiefs' Association, Florida Society of Fire Service Instructors, and numerous other organizations.
- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- Changing the culture of the fire service to regard the safety of firefighters AND the public by actively promoting personal safety, tactical awareness, and strategy based on thorough understanding ob building construction and the physics of fire. Teaching the bosses to stop letting our egos write checks our behinds can't cash.
- I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
- You can't meet better or more motivated people anywhere.
