- About Me:
- I joined the Perry Fire Dept in March of 2001. I have grown as a person as well as a firefighter since that time. I am now active in everything that I can be and take as many classes that I possibly can. My brother-in-law is on the same department as I am, as well as an uncle, and two cousins. Recently I was promoted to Lieutenant in Charge of EMS for our department.

- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- For volunteers, I would have to say it is recruitment and retention, training is a big issue, as well as finding people that are available to fight fires during the day time. Fire does not know our or care about our work schedules!!
- I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
- Being there to help people and having them remember you for it
