New Job

Hey all it's been a long time since I've posted a blog because I've been busy with things these past few months. I'm sure you remember me being really excited for the possibility of being a paid Fire-fighter for the city of Schenectady NY. I'm sorry to say that even though I did get offered a position within the Schenectady city FD's ranks, I turned it down, due to the fact that at the same time I interviewed with the city's FD, I was also getting a 2nd interview for a job I applied for in the f… Continue

Up-Date on Paid-Firefighter Position...

Hey Guys,
Sorry it's been a while since I was on and have forgotten to up-date you guys on the whole City of Schenectady paid position. Unfortunately, I had to turn the position down for the following reasons; I didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket so to speak and so I applied to another job around the same time the City of Schenectady was conducting interviews.

The other j0b was as a Logistics Coordinator with Compassion International. I'm sure you've all heard of Compassion Internatio… Continue

Up-Date on paid Fire Fighter...

Just an Up-Date no confirmation as of yet. I have an interview tomarrow @ 11:30am with the City of Schenectady Fire Department. I'm hopefull but nervous as all hell. I don't want to get too excited because I know I'm way down on the list-so I'm going into this thinking of it as just a formality. I really want it but at the same time I know I could just as easily not get it. Well I'll get back to you guys later.
Thanks and God Bless,
-Scotty Runx

McCain Accused of being a racist...

OK, All I got to say is that within the last couple of days McCain has gone out of his way, at his own rally, instead of talking about the issues, he has tried to reduce the tension by his supporters toward his opponent. If anything McCain respects Senator Obama, but that doesn't mean he isn't going to speak the truth. Yes both sides have been conducting "Attack" ads-but McCain is getting the brunt of the backlash especially being called a racist simply because his "attack"ads are attacking his… Continue

McCain's Speech!!!

Well first I want to thank you all for your warm words of encouragement-I do appreciate them, I just hope that I as get closer to my dad's age, that I will turn into a a jaded individual and loose my love for Free Speech which includes sharing your faith-whatever that maybe.
Dad, there is no one more for Freedom of Religion in this country then me. But with this freedom comes the ability to voice, share, and speak about what it is you believe in. I have had to fight this very same issue with man… Continue

Thanks Scott -

Sorry I didn't get back to you but I've been extremely busy, traveling a lot and HH was not on my radar. I'm looking for some folks to re-group the organization with. Let me know if you're interested.

Stay safe. Train often.

Hey Scott,
its nice to meet you. and thanks. no one really acknowledges the coast guard auxiliary. its actually something a lot of people haven't heard of until i meet them and we talk about it. so it feels good to have someone who actually knows about it. it is pretty fun to go out on the boat. no. we aren't really like the coast guard... but we help them out a lot. been in that for 3 years in December. kinda gets warn out after a while. and, yeah. i love firefighting. i don't know where id be without it.
but once again. it was nice to meet you and thanks. have fun and be safe out there.
