as a former member of an arson task force i can see where you're comming from. We had one member of the task force setting fires to fight them (not a john orr type) he was just in a slow department looking to fight fire and decided to set his own. I was not in a leadership position at that time but i did feel dirty as if the entire unit was smeared. Did anyone see the opening ceramonies to the olympics? Yao Ming walked in with a 9yr old child that was trapped in his school after the eartquake. They said that he got himself out and then WENT BACK IN and rescued some of his classmates. EMS and responsibilities to act

EMS in my county is taking a beating for being first on the scene of a car in the water and not going in after a screaming victim. they are getting slammed by the citizens (none of which attempted a rescue of their own) saying that EMS has a responsibility to act...EMS adm. and I say that they did right by not acting since they were NOT trained to do water rescue...i believe in the first rule of rescue...."dont become a victim", but the rush to judgement continues. i am behind them 100% if you d… Continue
