yeah we gotta do some winching training and some more pretty hi-tec training before we are qualified. We work with helicopters all the time at fires, so it should be great

sounds preety fun

My force are trying to start up a HELITAK (Helicopter tactical) team that flies to major fires by helicopter and start fighting the fire and getting stuff ready before ground units arrive. Then go home by road.

Paul, welcome to the Nation. I am glad you joined the group. Dont be shy just jump in anywhere and get your feet wet. You will get out of this what you put into it. Lots to see, read and be involved in here. Your involvement is important to us all. So have fun and be safe.
