Finally living my childhood dream....I have so much respect for fireman..I have always wanted to do this and I felt it was time..I am enjoying myself so much..Thanks to all the Guys at station 45 for helping me learn.
I had a few heroes growing up and they all seem to be Fireman and policeman.. A family friend Joe Kelly gave me his badge at age 5 and I was hooked and destined to be doing this.. I finally got tired of saying I wish and I now say I am.. And I love it..

Wondering how to improve training for non EMS responders like coaches and staff at parks and sports games.

Tonight we had an incident at a local recreation league. The kids are playing basketball and we had a 13 year old go up for a rebound and got pushed very hard and twisted upside down landing on his head.. Thanks Pat! The new house is great. Almost hard to believe we've been here almost 2 years! How is the pipe band? I miss playing, but just don't have the time to commit to practicing right now. I do get out my practice chanters every now and again.
