- My boyfriend is a 20+ career firefighter - I work with fire departments around our county/state to try & get them heart healthy through the AHA.... We are both dedicated to his career and to what I do through the AHA.

- About Me:
- I work for the American Heart Association. One of my big projects is to work with fire departments to raise awareness of their #1 killer.....cardio vascular disease. We need to reduce the numbers!!! I'm very passionate about this an work very hard at trying to get the awareness out and trying to help different departments in any way that I can to help them.
I am very fortunate to have a boyfriend who understands my job and we are very blessed that we both support each other in our professions. He is my hero and I can't imagine not being able to do what we do.....together!

- lack of funding in so many areas.....proper equipment, proper training, health & wellness benefits. Their budget is always the first to cut, and the public doesn't understand why things happen the way they do.
- I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
- There are truly caring people in this profession. What better reason is there than that?
