Saw your post on the FF Wives group page... just wanted to let you know that you seem like such a sweetheart and that even though the phrase "love is all you need" seems more like a cliche nowadays, I hope it plays a role in helping you through the tough times. I'm not as 'seasoned' as you are in being a firefighter's significant other, but I already understand where you are coming from. But behind every heroic man there is a stronger woman! Best of luck and keep in touch on the wives page. Take care :]

Hey! You're just down the road in Summerville! We used to live there when we first got married. My husband volunteered for one of the departments there. Urgh...the name escapes me now. I'll ask when I see him again. As you know, that will be a couple days. I read your post on the ff wives site. I completely understand. You are perfectly normal in feeling lonely and also annoyed with his constant attentiveness to the department. I've felt it all too, but for us at least, things have improved greatly. I have to run and get the kids to VBS right now, but I'll write more later if you want me to. Good to meet someone sort of local on here!
