- Growing up i always enjoyed helping others and thought it would be great to get into EMS. The only way to get started in the area i was in was to become a volunteer. After being a volunteer for a short time i knew the fire service was the career choice for me. The Brother Hood is like no other!

- My First career job was with Phonix Fire in Oregon. But we have been absorbed into JCFD5.

- About Me:
- Started my career as a volunteer with JCFD5 in 1995. Was a student Fire Fighter with JCFD5 until i finished my Associates Degree in both Fire Science and EMS! Landed my first Career job in 2004 with Phoenix Fire and In October of 2007 Became a full time Member of JCFD5. Could not ask for anything more!
- Side Jobs or Other Organizations:
- Like to do tile work and am toying with the idea of starting a side business
- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- Money!!!! This is a growing issue nation wide. We continue to run more and more calls every year and Fire Department Budgets do not Grow fast enough to support the need for more personel and equipment.
