I am on my third copy of ladder 49, my daughter will be 3 in February and it is her favourite movie, at least twice a day if not 3 or 4 times we watch it. Does anybody else see a future firefighter about 20 years down the road!

I've worn both from cairns metro 660 to the N5a and N6a. I liked the philly helmet the worst helmet ive worn was the lion legend traditional style they are uncomfortable. But always leather forever

Leather forever baby!!! Worn a New Yorker since 1987. (I was out of the fire service for a few years. Got a new N5A when I got back in) Yea its heavy but I wouldn't trade it. Started wih a 770 Philly in 1980

although it helps to keep you cool, anything with polyester in it will melt under the conditions that we work in. A fellow firefighter at my department received minor burns due to this. Hope you can talk them out of it. Stay Safe

We just started using the Paul Conway traditional and I find them a hell of alot more comftorable than the modern's.

Not this year, I was in Vermont last year however and took the Advanced Auto Ex Course. I recently moved and had to resign from North Dundas FD. I am waiting for a spot to open up where I live now, also waiting to hear from a couple of career departments.
