I am the VP of our Irish FF's group. We are aligned with the AOH and we are called 'FIR DOITEAN". Your best bet would be to get organized and then contact the AOH about falling under one of their chapters.

Give me a break!!! It's looks to me like this guy saw an opportunity for a possible harrasment law suit and jumped on it. The sad thing is these guys all had to lose their house and be transferred and worry about their jobs because this guy wants ...

I was wondering if anyone could offer some "How To" info on how to form an Emerald Society.. Are they usually exclusive to your dept. or regional/multi departmental? Advice or suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Angel Memphis Fire

Angel thanks so much for all of the great information! I have Morning Pride gear as well and I think it fits great, hopefully manufacturers will soon realize most of us like our pants closer to our belly button than our bra! But getting men's pants tailored sounds like something I might have to try. Thanks again!

Hey!

My name is Amanda and I am trying to figure out what products are best for female firefighters. I have worked as a firefighter for only two years so I am just getting started. Currently I am a student at Eastern Kentucky University in in the Fire & Safety Engineering Technology Program. Although I have only been a firefighter for two years I have had my fair share of small gloves that were still too big and pants that went up to my belly button! I was wondering if you could take the time out of your busy schedule to share some of your favorite/best fitting/most functional products for female firefighters. Weather it’s an awesome fitting pair of pants, A polo shirt that has sleeves that do not go down to your elbows, a pair of great gloves, or boots that have an awesome fit. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share your opinions with me. Thank you very much. Please feel free to e-mail me back at amanda_cherry4@eku.edu or leave me a comment.

Stay Safe,
Amanda Cherry
