- So that I could help others. And because my husband is also a fire firefighter/EMT-Intermediate/Fire Chief/Hazmat Tech and I also have a daughter that is a Firefighter/EMT/ Hazmat Tech, with her primary department and a firefighter/EMT with her secondary department and a daughter that is an EMT and she just got her firefighter certificate with the same department. I also have a son who has completed the fire training and received his certification also.
