Yea we didnt have that many wildland fires this year as we usually do..we had a few pretty good ones...state mobes were slim to min which can be good..i guess it just saves more for next season.....so now as its getting colder n that we get to dea...

Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
My grandpa was a Capt with Garfiled County Fire Dist #1 for many years before he passed away, when I was very young. So When I was 17 I joined the same dept that he was on. Alot of the guys that were on when I joined was on when he was on. They would tell me stories of some of the things he did or would do. I guess he was a big stickler on having the higbees lined up just prefectly. So I have been going strong since then. My cousin also was a firefighter for many years. So as they say its in the blood.

Hey Danny,
things here are alright. my grandmother has been in the hospital for three weeks with heart stuff. She had quad bypass and valve replacement surgery a little over two weeks ago. Other than that life is pretty ok. It's foggy and rainy tonight. if it's foggy here anywhere generally the airport will be in it.
