I am levi Winfrey. I am a live in firefighter at nestucca fire departments pacific city station. I am attending college to become a career firefighter/paramedic. This is what i want to do for the rest of my life. I am a follower of jesus christ, I am a member of the church of jesus christ of the latter day saints.

I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
Its exciting and there is nothing better to get your adrenaline pumping, and the fact that it is extremely rewarding.

im sorry to hear that, we get atleast 1 a day, mostly medical and wrecks, and we have 30 volunteers

we had a fatal wreck a week ago, being 15 and knowing the guy really well, it messed me up a little, because i was in the back of the car helping with trying to get him out while the car was upside down

I think everyone needs to look at the big picture its a "VOLUNTEER" department. I would never turn help down. If they want to run EMS so be it. If they are forced to fight fire and freez up people can get hurt or killed.

My question is this....what happens when the "non-interior" or "non-firefighter" ends up in a position where an action needs to be taken that he/she is uncomfortable with. Where do you draw the line? I like truck work, but don't want to do engine...
