Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
I wanted to give back to my community in a way that felt as if I was really making a difference in people's lives. The CVFD has allowed me to feel like I'm helping to protect the people and place that I love.

About Me:
Just your average Cape Breton girl; I work hard, play hard, and I love to keep busy and my mind alert; yet another reason I found my way into the CVFD. I spend a lot of my time involved with teaching and also the security company, and with my friends and my boyfriend (when we're not working). In my spare time, i love to write, read, sing, be active (especially outside), and go for long drives along the coast with my camera and whoever feels like tagging along.
