A Teenagers View of heaven

If this one doesn't move you, I don't know what will! It blessed
me, it really did. Think on it.... I have only one word for you... SHARE.
It is long but please take a moment to read.

A TEENAGER'S VIEW OF HEAVEN

17-year-old Brian Moore had only a short time to write something
for a class. The subject was what Heaven was like. 'I wowed 'em,' he later
told his father, Bruce. 'It's a killer. It's the bomb. It's the best thing I
ever wrote..' It also was the last.

Brian Moore died May 27, 1997,… Continue

Thanks AJ. Yes, the fires were close enough to me. There's a photo in my albums showing the one I went to on the first day - it was about ten minutes drive in the pumper. The worst fires were all fairly close to the suburbs of Melbourne. If the wind had stayed in the north the fires could well have spotted into the suburbs.

G'day AJ. Just visiting and skipped through your music - Amazing Grace always grabs me! I know it's a Christian Hymn (and an old one!) and I'm not religious at all, but it's a fantastic bit of music. I went youtubing to catch some other versions - the bagpipes are the ones for me. Scottish ancestry and ex-Army? Probably both!
Little River? We have a Little River Fire Brigade here, all volunteer too. And it's the place the Little River Band was named after. Unfortunately they don't have a website.

The incident hindered my response by a minute or so which could make all of the difference. In this instance - no, I still made the rig (it was an EMS call). However, the "What If" factor plays a key role - the other drivers passing me didn't know...

This is true. It's personally happened to me, I've heard horror stories about it, and someone I work with has even stated that she purposely does this as well. However, if it were her house on fire, or her husband and/or children that needed help,...
