I dont agree with ya. How they going to learn the "ropes". Ive been through several trainigs, an there is no training out there to get you ready for your first actual fire. The only way there going to learn is to be there.

Kyle, having worked with depts. that had difficulty replacing rigs one of the things we established was with the local community college and auto/truck mechanic training programs to help with repairs. They were often looking for vehicles to repair...

Is there any windows? If i was in charge at that location an had to make rapid entry, i would break a window an gain access that way. It is much faster, an easier. Then send the entry team or one individual to open the door for the rest of the team.
