Thank you everyone for welcoming me with such open arms! You all deserve encouraging words and support! I thank God that I never had to experience being in a fire or even having a house burned down, but it doesn't mean that I don't know that it's you guys that risk your lives for everyday citizens such as myself! I can say however that back when I was a day before graduating high school I was in a car wreck. I was in the back passenger seat of my friend’s car. Now I know I'm supposed to wear my seatbelt in the back seat but I wasn't! Well long story short when the car hit us; not our fault I promise, I was knocked over to the other side of the back seat! When the car came to a stop, it just so happened that at the 4 way stop there was a witness which happened to be EMS and he came to my rescue. Months down the road when I was able to thank this nice fellow, he told me that when he saw me flop over to the other side of the seat his only concern was to get to me and to make sure that I was ok! All I could think was Wow! Thank God I was ok and there were no serious injuries. I was even able to attend my high school graduation the next day! So that's why I call you guys/girls heroes!
