Sorry I'm just writing back...haven't been on here in a while. Virginia is good. Sept and Oct are always busy months for my VFD because of National Fire Prevention week. The community keeps us hoping with events and normal call volume. We survived though. :) A sad story to report is the loss of a Fairfax County Police Officer in Pohick Bay. They were doing a training exercise and he drowned. They searched for several days...our boat was out there, but the waters are rough. They found him 100 yards from where he went down. Just a sad story.
